Mr. Daly asked if anyone would like to speak.
Ms. Tolos said she had been looking at the charter and had a few questions. Said she was
ordering if, as the cotnmi«ee went to each section, they would rather have input or jus
ecognize romeone, or if thz committee wantW input only during Public Participation. The
vice-chair asked if everyone underswod. Ms. Dennis resiwnded that she did and that Public
Participation was posted on the agenda and that was when anyone was allowed to speak and
that this body was a working body.
Viccehair Daly informed Ms. Tolos the committee would ba hapPY to listen to any
suggestions but rite[ the order of participation would be decided by the eommiuee and that it
would he within a panc~ular sec0on.
Ms.'1'olos questioned if the committee was now at approximately Section 3.02, Compensation
of Commissioners. Vicrrchair Daly said tltewnnnittee was at Section 3.01 (b). Ms. Dennis
carded that Mz Tolos give her tecommendetions, it she has recotnmendatiom_ and the
eomtnittee can make note of that.
Ms. Tolos said that the c s, by ordina e, hav authorized including the COLA

COW is involved m include it in the charter so that wtnmissioners would just aotomancally
get it and not have to wait far elections.

Ms. Dennis said she thought that item was sa(ficient and [hat she would not recommend a
change to it. Mr. Van Hoover asked Ms. Tolos to renate her item. Ms.'I'olos saitl she
