Chair VanHooven stated he was concerned about the charter amendment
passed by the county on toms lands and how it mighs affect the city

the county chatter amendment. He stated the city had an imerlocal
agreement with the county relevant to annexatiovs
Member Katauskas agreed there may be possible impact [o both Article I

Section 2.02 -Annexation
Discussion ensued regarding [he interlocal agreement with the county on

Discussion ensued regarding how often geographical Commission
Districts should be evaluated.
Member Katanskas tared there mefiame Pot the Chart

the districts. He declared it would be helpful to know when the last district
change occuned_
Discussion was held regarding an appropriate time flame for geographic
districts to be evaluated.

districts were addressed.

Member Katauskas suggested the four (4) qualifications be lined
irally in this paragraph. He inquirN if it would be approprate for
the members to exchange e-mails.
The Recording Secretary advised this would be a violation oCSunshine
Law. She haled ifthe members would like to forward their
mendations to her, she would distribute [hem as pan ofthe agenda
packet.

Discussion was held regarding term limits.
Discuesion was held regarding when the Charter Advisory Committee's
recommendations would need to be compleced.
The Recording Secretary stated the City Clerk would need
recommendations in June forthe 2005 election ballot.
Discussion continued regarding imposing term limits.

disouseion at the next meeting
