Approval of Minutes: Mrs. Suber passed Lhe gavel to Mr. 1lel tzer antl made motion to approve the Minutes of May ltl, 1968 as submitted. Motion seconded by Mrs. Shanate. Motion carried by a una nr moos vote. 3. Continuation of Public Nearing. Variance requested by Ramar Mfg. Lo. of F1. Request for a five foot setback in the re n lieu of the required 15 foot re setback. I.oca lion: Part of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad ROW, east side of S. Wilma Street. Mr. M1lel CZer asked if the hardship was created by purchase Of the property or by City n changing the zoni 9. Mr. Burgess stated the zoning was changed after pur- chase of property. Mr. Cohen had a problem with se ri ty on the property and is requesting a o ai low a fence within the front setback. Ne further stated the fence is n the south side of the property, wh i<h n s down and i order to park the vehicles they need a fence For u rityrand a e to utilize the area for se uretl parking. Mrs. Suber vari ans as ketl if the fence wa placed on the right of w0.Y~c Mr. Hunt stated i[ fs a platted ri9h[ of way which wa r abandoned but has n er been used and does not continued on the sou ihvside. Mrs. Sober as kedv if a Lounty right- of-way utilization permit would be obtained. Mr. Hunt stated an application had been submitted to YM1e Lounty. Mr. Fiel tz er asked if the fence had been ns[ru cted prior to request for a Flr. Nu nt stated the Code Enforce- ment Department was dealing with thatris and penalties will be imposed by them. Mr. Nel [zer stated he strongly objected to people violating code and then c ing before the Board requesting a Mr. Kramer sta tetl the Codes and Builtli n9 Department would deal with th eaviol at loo and the question to the Board was for a ce based on their claiming hardship due to ri ty problems and irregular shape of the lot. Mr. Cohen stated his busU ness manager wa n the process of get tinq information to apply for the e when he had sthe fence installed due to the continuing vandalism problem. Nr. Lohen apologized for acting impulsively on the fence installation but sta [ed he was requesii ng the va dance to correct the problem. I1rs.
