]:30 P.M., in the Longwood City Cormission Conference Roan.

Dr. Pearl opened the Public Hearing aMdi spl ayed Oroof of publication. Mr, floods stated 1
the va requested were based on ne ssi ty for making a workable site plan for
the intended sconstruc lion of the addi tioneto Slane Furniture Gallery. Ne requested

property. Nr. Leon Hyman asked Mrl Moods if tho buffer would renarn if ke it is and
Mr, hoods replied yes.
Motion by ifr. Lewis, s conded by Mr. fabl e, to close the public heari nn. Motion
carried by a unanrmouseroll call vote.

Nagle explained each variance request and the Land Pl anni n9 A9 ency's recommendation
for each.
Motion by Mrs. Suber, s condetl by Mr. Lewis, to handle each variance request
individually. tlotion carried by a unanimous roll call vote,
Motion by Mr. Lewis to grant the va ce to permit the landscaping buffer within
the DOT right of way, subject to DDT's nl attar and requiranents, and subject to
ant between 4lorld of Dinettes antl 51 one's Furniture Gallery and 1
toc9ra nt the variance requested to waive the landscape buffer nn the north property
line.
Mr. Stewart Nwnan asked what if 4lorld of Dinettes and 51 one's did not came to an
9 ement. Mr. Magle stated the variance would not be granted.

Mr. Slone stated he would prefer the Eoard of Adjustment grant the va on the

like to see the ar ea but cautioned Mr. Slone that the Li ty

Mr. Lewis amended his motion to excl ode the re ent for the cr e agreement
and added that landscape buffer requirement should be wa ved far 29]?4ofeet frdn

motion seconded by Mr. Cable.
Mrs. Suber still stated <o er the lack of req uirenent of a e agreement

two property owners failed to cooperate at a later date. Mr. Lewis stated he did
not believe he hap the authority to decide.
Motion by Mr. Lewis, s conded by Mrs. Shmate that the va ce for tFe driveways be
approved until such time as DMT makes improvements to Hwyrsi Z-92 and should the City
or DOT determine that the curb cuts on either 51 one's property or the adjacent
properties need to be closed, that the variance request be modifi ea at that time
to ac omnodste the requirements of the City and/Dr DOT, also subject to DOT letter
da tedcoc tober Z, 1905. Motion carried by a unanimous roll call vote.
Motion by Mrs. Shona te, 5 cond ed by Mr. Cable that with the additional landscaping

Mrs. Suber questioned the new location of the ba throms in the warehouse ar Mr.
Slane stated he had agreed not to move tFe ba throGaes to the wareFOp se area and would
retain than in the exizti n9 retail portion Df the store.
Motion by Mr. Lewis, s conded by Mrs. Suber to grant the variance For 15 parking
spaces as regoes ted subject to LFe ex ti n9 retail/office showroom of E]3E sq: ft.
not being enlarged and that the proposed 5230 sq, ft. w rehouse be used for dead
storage and y, that the proposed pa r ki no spaces as showna on the plan be approved,
and that the variance only be approved as long as the existi nG use does not change.
Motion carried ny a unanimous roll call vote.
