The Board of Adjustment held its regularly scheduled meeting at ]: 30 P.M. o
February 4, 1985 in the Longwood City Lomni ssion Conference Roam on Wilma n
Street, Longwood LfTy Hall.

1. The meeting was called to order by Dnnie Shona te.
2. Approval of Piinu tes of September 3, 1904 meeti nq: Motion by Dr. Pearl, s cond ed
by Mr. Lewis, to approve the minutes of the September 3, 1964 meeting as written.
3. As the full Board of Adjustment was not present, Dr. Pearl suggested that
the election of officers be postponed until March. Motion by Dr. Pearl, seconded
by Mr. Lewis, that the election of officers for 1985 be tabled until the next
Boa rtl of Adjus Nlent meeting and to seta Board of Adjustment meeti n9 for the first
monday of t~farch. Motf on carried by a unanimous vote.

Mrs. Shoma to opened the meeti nq ,nd as ked if there w anyone present who wished to
speak for the variances. Pirs. Gri sel ina of 381 Tul its Avenue asked to speak and
stated she w not opPOSed to the v s however she sYa ted he had a problem in
that the spr In kl er system on her lot, which she also bought Rom Mr, Barbour,
extended onto the subject property and that if a house was built on this lot, it
would destroy her sprinkler system which was also tied into her heat and a
contli tionin9. Mr. Bryant sugnested that she contact Mr. Barbour. Mrs. Gri sel ina
stated she had spoken to Mr. Barbour and he wa not responsible for the sprinkler
sys ten. It was the co s of the Board of Adj usiment that this was not a
problem for the Board toebeuconcerned about and that it was a private natter between
Mr, Barbour end Mrs. Crisel ina.
Mr. Showers spoke for the variances stating he hoped the Board would grant the
it was a good building lot.. He stated that the problem was created

Mrs. Shoma to asked if there one anyone present who wished to speak against the
variances. There was no one present to speak against [he variances.
Motion to close the public hearing by Br. Pearl, seconded by Mr. Lewis. Motion
carried by a unanimous vote
Mrs. Shumate asked for any discussion. Dr. Pea ri stated there were three bull tli n9
lots directly across the street. Hr. Bryant concurred. Nr s. Shoma to stated that
Mr. harbour requested and was granted percni ssion from the City Lonmi ssion years ago
