DIRECTOR'S REPORT Ms. Lomax thanked everyone who helped with the Easter Egg Hunt that was held on Setwday April4th, 1998. They had a great tum out and it was a huge success. 4. OLD BUSINESS .4. Approved minutes fiom the Iasi meeting held on March 3, I99R. B. The board discussed how much ofa success the Easer Egg Num was this year. Some suggestions were made far next years event Such as placing more signs around Candyland ', Park to where people would be aloud ro park for [he event. Ms. Breckon suggested that after all the age groups had finished the Aunt that the first winners be brought ro one main section ofthe park for the e ar bunny to pros t them with :heir priu. NF.\V NUSINESS A. Projects for the upcoming budget Ms. Huttner suggested a place to fish for the kids to enjoy. The board asked Ms. Lomax if there mty land that the Parks wn do some building on. Ms. Lomax responded that she was not at this time- Mx Lomax advised the board that there was z resident of the Sandalwood Sub U ve n thar cold like t a few thhtgs done in that area. The resident also made some suggestions on what she cold like to ree done to their park in that sub division such xs a fence pm around the entire play and some park benches and new swings added. Ms. Lomax mentioned that CatMyland Park tin desperate need of perking space bumpers. Ms. Lomax would also like to purchase a piece oC machinery for the parks depanment for the ballfelds to help get them done quicker and more efNciently_ the board eommevted on how much they liked the new entrance at Cendyland Pazk the thryjust recently adde4- Ms. 8reekon suggested putting a new Longwood sign end some ce landscaping a[ dte o the pack.
