Chair Gerald O'Keefe culled the meeting to ortler at'/:k5 p.m.

Cimir O'Keefe called fur approval of the minntes of May 1, 2001. Motion was made and
seconded to accept minutes .as presented.
DIRCCTORS REPORT
Ms. Walsh related how busy she had been getting the Summer School going and what a
gre Isoecess it is.
She has not had a cbaoce to get with the owners of the Outspoken Bike shop for the G11
Bike Evm:t, bnt oow that the School program is well ender way she will get with them

Ms. Walsh said they hnJ already scheduled two trips to We[ & \Vild but if he could get
discoums for Universal [hat would be great.
Vice Chair Holt asked Ms. Walsh if she had gotten with Langwootl Elementary abmit the
Bike Rodeo. She said she woultl now tlm[ she had Ihe. Summer School ender way. He said
he spoke to them about combining both events as they also have ane. Ms. Walsh thought it
was a great idea and would get with them to set a date.
Member Anderson asked Ms. Walsh about the Budget, if it would provide for more
basketball courts in the parks. She said no, that They were basically going to stay the same.
4, NEW BUSINESS
Member Anderson asked just when the Bike Rotlea wau1J be. Ms. Walsh saitl she was
hoping for the 25th of Aognst, as the children ga back to school on the 2ntl of August, but
until she can get with Oo[spoken Bike Shop, everything is still tentative.
He also asked if.4ttorney Riclmrd Taylor was contactetl, Ms. Walsh saitl na as he had
surgary ,but she would try to get him to come to the next meeting.
Member Daugherty said the telephone poles in Arbor Park that are osed so block o6 the
parkin8 needetl replacing.
