assumed the Chair.
Cbair O'Keefe asked if sommoe would accept the position of Vice Clinir. Mr. Halt said he
would. Mr. Holt was alerted by acclamation.
Chair O'Keefe proceeded to ask [ur approval of the Mivulcs o[ Apri13, 2001. Mwnber
Anderson moved to approve the mivutes with the stipulation, that afro everyone has read
them, if anyone wanted anything am¢ntled, ft would be handled at the next meeting.

Ms. Walsh protteded to tlmnk the Members far their help in making the Easter Event a
great sueccss, as well as those who showW np to give eShe snid all the children
re happy with their Baskets and especially with the seootws they rueivW as another
prize.
Ms. Walsh passed around a copy of Irer hudgey whinh included the approved Master Plan
for Candyland Park She said sM1e Iws reyuestW q~ite.a bit, but did not go too high, and
M1opes it will be approval.

Ms. Walsh next brought up the Blke Rodeo, scheduled [or August. Since last year was the
first one, and she was not here, she astral Mary Hr:ttner or Ted D.anghcrty to plrlsc
explaiv what took place xl the event.
Member Hnttner said.she was not here last year as she. was on vacation.
Member Daugherty related to all [M1at the owners of the Outspoken Bike Shop brought the
amps and equipment needed for the Bike. Rodeo, as they knew what to do and how to tlo
ce they do it all over the country. They brought four professim~al riders with them to
pr,tton an exhibition. Tl,e Seminole SM1erilPs Department came with muforiseA veM1iNes.
Longwood Police Department and the Lm,gwooJ Safely Helmet Grm,p oho participated.
He also said there was a bike safety helmet inspection. The Bike SM1Op brought stickers for
the kids and Gatorade was provided for lhenr. It was from 10:00 a.m. till noon which was
plenty of time.

with tM1e Racer Scooters. Also the ones with the motors on the back will require you to be
t6 and also to be IlcensW. He also recoom:eoded all the rules and regulation signs m all the
Parks & Rec.
