Chair McCoy callW the meeting to order at ]:OOp.m. Re then railed for approval of the

Chair McCoy said he had spokev with Deputy Mayor Maingot about a Barber Shop
Quartet singing this year a[ the Fesnvnl, but as they were already committed, would like [o
be kept iv mivd for next year. Chair MCCoy will ge[thdr phone number. 8e did speak to
a Laurie Klelvoviceh and she covermed ehe eoald come for two 15 minute slots to sing.

Chair McCoy said if it was alright with the Board, he would extend an tvvitation fa the 5

Member Breckan had contacted Kim Zeh who is in charge of the Girl Scouts, sad all are
t, they will be here at 3:OOp.m. to start setting up. The only thing she was somewhat
omfvrtable about is that Debbie Renfro bought soda for the soda walk and Ms. Zeh
Bald she was going to charge for it, as Member Bracken did not remember charging [or it
last year Is uncomfortable about charging, especially sivu the City bought it We will have
o speak with Ner when ebe arrives avU ask if she is donating it back to the thrift shop or to
the GiN Scouts or where. She callW Show Timm and everyone had been faxed [he schedule

Ms. W alsb said Safety Director Terry Baker has gon a group of people that have
Antique Cara and they are setting them up mainly [or the adults to view all through the
nivg. Also the P.A, sntem will be checked. Signs would be put up for parking, Junior
RO.T.C. would also be available, parking will be available at the Church parking lot and
probably at the empty City lot, the same as last year. Santa and Elf are really, also music
[or the soda walk
Member Breckvv said the SbuiRS Department will be hue with Mr. McGruR, the Dog,
and the motorcycle person, [he Ci[y of LongwooA will be here with the bike helmets. She
asked Ms. W'ahh if she had asked Chief Chapman about getting an ambulance that the
Mayor had suggested getting, along witA the fire track that Santa comes on, and she said
thxt they would be available, barring any great emugeney.

Ms. Walsb informed all of getting a phone call from a Mrs. Cassatly about her daughter
who represents Miss Junior Longwood, the middle school pageant, who they goes on to
Miss Junior Florida and, if she wine that, she they goes on to Miss JuniorAmericn. She
anted to know what her daughter could do to be involvetl in tBe community, ao we
deeldeJ to let her hand out the progra orhelp ou[with the piGUres with Santa or do
bath. Debbie has chairs available for the eltleriy when they arrive.
Membu Meale informed all he will be resigning io January ns hewill be moving to
Mississippi and a new pesitiou. All wishwl him well and told him he would be missed.
Member Breckon suggested planting a tree in earh park next year around Arbor Day if
there ie enough money in the budget.
