1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Uan McCoy railed the meeting to order at 9:OOp.ni. He [hen called for an
approval of the minutes for October 3, 2000.
Member Rex Anderson mode a motion to eppro antl Member Mary Hmhier
xoaded. Motion carried by 5-0.2 with MemberseMau Meale and Hal Taylor
absent.
Chair McCoy informeA nli of Member Hal Taylor having LnA by-Pass surgery and going
for another surgery on Friday, November 1], 2000, and that Lorraine brought a gef well
card wisliiog hini a speeAy recovery. It will be here for all to sign.
The ncnt item was a copy of Uie Rules and Regulations for 6m Parks and Recreation
Advisory Board. There are a number of items on here that neeJ to be changed to conform
fo our edam.

the neat meeting forPorther discussion as how best to emend Nese Rules and Regulations.
Chair McCoy thought it a gooU idea anU n6 agreed. He invited Mr. Brock to spank under
New Business.
2. NE\V BUSINESS
Mr. Droek introduced Leslie Walsh, who would be joining the City on November 20, 2000
as the RecreationalPrograms COOrdinator. Hetoltl how she spent the last four years al
Winter Springs. He has hearU nothing but glowing reports. Ms. Wnhh voluntarily came
io tonight to listento the discussion relntive to the Christmas program auwrties.
Ms. Far told m re all expecting to sa Tracy Crowe tonigh4 how r she i
going o~ avd will not be back until Daember 0. She was not 100 per eol reatly
with the al[ernal~ives and, the City Administrator has expressed his wish to review them
prior to any pruevtation. This sligh[delay wip givens the opportunity to M1ave Leslie meet
Tracy and develop a rapport. He asked all to join him in welcoming Leslie.
3. OLD BUSINESS
Chair McCuy said he noticed, as be was coming past Raider Park today, a sign In great
need o[ repair. He wondereU i[ thue was any way of getting it replaeed.
Debbie Renfro asked if the same names should be listed oa the sign junk as it appems now.
Member Anderson saiA it was a directive from the Commission and we probably have fo
leave as it is.
Member McCoy then turned the meeting forward to the subjet of the Christmas event.
Vice Chair Breckon [hen proceeded to hand out two Byers pertaining to the Christmas
Event xhedule. She said Kim Zay who is h~ charg<of the Girl Scouts, was to be here
touighe to give bar a list of all the diRUent booths with the diRerent crafts so she will
probably fax Nam to her within the next couple of weeks so she can go shopping for the
s needetl. She will mke care of the booths the same as last year. The Byer will be put
into the Utility Bill for Daembu.

Vice Chx'v Breckon said she had confirmations tram Lyman high School, ShowTime and
Longwood Elementary timt they would participate and .as soon as these xhediiles are
approved they will be faxetl to them. Sa we will go with block print on a colored paper for
the Dyers. Our next meeting will bejust prior to the event and hopefully we will have the
program polled together and I can presort it m the Doartl at that time.
Debbie Refro said we will be having Police assistance, the HoiinU Dng, the bike helmet
in[ormanom and Explorers.
