1. CALL TO ORDER.
Chair O'Keefe called the meeting to ortler at 7:W pm. The board welcomed its newest
member, Chuck Gilmore.
2. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION. There was no public participation.
3. OLU BUSINESS:
A. Approve October ~. 2001 minutes.
MSC [HOIllAntlerson] to approve [he October'!, 2001 minutes,
passed 5-0-2 with Member Knickerbocker absent and one
vacant seat.
Member Holt had a question concerning the minutes. Referring to the bottom of page
e, he wantetl to know if a motion was ever made to have the city run the event on its
Chair O'Keefe said it was just a comment and that no motion was made.
Adtlitionally, Member Holl inquired about the suggestion made by Deputy Mayor John
C. Maingol concerning the additional Christmas tree event.

Member Daugherty explained the request by Deputy Mayor John C. Main0ot to the
board antl the boartl's tlecision nol to hoitl an atltlitional Christmas tree lighting event in
Cantlylantl park.
B. Directors Report.
Ms. Walsh thanked those board members who volunteeretl at the annual Fall Festival to
make the first Booville a huge success', the parents were very pleasetl and thanked her
for having something for the younger chiltlren', and that she looked fonvartl to adtlitianal
ideas for next year s event.
4. NEW BUSINESS
Ms. Welsh's next topic was the upcoming Christmas Tree Lighting event. She said the
ent would be heltl Saturtlay, December 8, 2001 from 4:00 to 6:15 p m., There was a
list of groups who would perform at the event. Also, this year there were to be two huge
stockings that woultl be raffletl off.
Ms. W alsh went over the series of scheduled events.
Lastly, Ms. Welch remintled there would be another meeting prior Yo the tree fighting
service where she woultl review final arrangements with the board.
There was a brief discussion wherein concerns and questions were expressetl by the
board. Ms. Walsh stated she woultl address those questions and concerns.
5. ADJOURNMENT
The Chair adjourned the meeting at 1:38 p.m
