I. Call to Order. Chair Shoemukw called the mewing to order et )'.O6 p. m.
~, 2. Approval of Minutes October 5, 2004 Regular Meeting.
Member W hice moved to approve the minutes of Octobu 5. 2009 as
preserved. Seconded by Member Richardson and tamed by a unanimous
voice volewith Member Uliavo absent.

5. Old Business.
A. ParW & Rttreation Manager's Report.
Ms. Mali repotted the Ocmber Bluegrass had approximately l5 to 40 in
tendanca She stated the Savior Matinee had approximately 20 in attendenoe

has requested more recent movies, but they ere having diffeulty finding
appropriate reoentf tares and would be connnuing with the classics.

Discussion was held regarding the Fall Pestiva~ the carnival end the obstacle
Disc as held regarding Longwood families in need and how the
f§miliee were saletted-
Ms. Mali stated she would be working on a spon orship list n the n ar future.
She said sponsorships could offset expenses to the city. She 'reported Ms.
Adzima has been helping to neck expenses antl every even would have a
tracking number.
Ms. Mali reported that x very successful AARP driving class had just been
ompleted. She repotted the fall w-ed softball league was wncluding and
there would be a winter co-ed softball league starting. She stated [he co-etl
softball has bren very soccessfid and they probably would be scheduling
additional nights. She sorted the Seniorcise has been progressing very well.
The Tennis Clinic hes been a success and she stag they were hoping to sea
this program grow. She said the instmaor works very well with the ohildren
and they offer a Dtice reduction with the enrollment of a second child.
Ms. Mali reponed on upcoming events to include- Bluegrass Pickin' Saturday.

4'" in mnjunnion with the Tingle Rell Walk, Run and Bark sponsored by the
Arthritis Foundation. There will be an evening AARP drivinS class scheduled

Ms. Mali reported the FRDM grant for Reiter Park was mailed in [his past
Friday. She reviewed the proposed plan f r the park and said the wnceptual
plan enRy being worked on. She reponed there had been some
problem and complain regarding a mall skate park in the Sandalwood
Neighborhood Park. She reported the Commission decided to have the skate
park equipment removed and stored.
Ms. Mali reponed that Longwood now hes represe n the Greenwxys
and Trails Committee of Seminole County. The represe

working very hard to have trails in Longwood. Mrs. Putz made a
