Ms. Mali reponed the Skate Wave Demo Tour date has bee onfrmed Lbr lone 3Q 1A05 at Reiter Park. She said the event would wmbine Rock the Park bur will be held as a family fun night encompassing all ages. She said then a of the event has not been deterznined_ She stated the skate demo would be s t up at the tennis courts. Member Gavoni suggested naming the event "C ton Board -Wheels of Fun Family Night"_ Ms. Mali advised there would be a family movie night every Thursday night during the summer from'!-00 to 9 00 in the Community Building She stated National Night Out would be August 2, 2005. She reponed the ceptual plans for Reiter Perk and Smallworld Park were approved by the City Com n5he said they would st compilin6thebid packages in the nsear future. She stated the city was applying for a Community Development Block Grant for Rei[er Park_ She raparted that ew fencing was going up in Sandlewood Park. She said the ska[eboard equipment had been removed from Sandlewood Park and a pavilion would be going in. She stated all skate perk equipment would be in Reiter Park, very visible to the police and the comm city. Chair Shoemaker inquired if Summer Camp would be doing a banner for National Night Out. Ms. Mali responded in the a~rmative. Chair Shoemaker reminded Ms. Mali the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts had expressed a desne to be involved with National Night Out. Chair Shoemaker suggested holding a bake sale for the Fall Festival. She also suggested having food vendors at the Fall Festival. She stated it would be Sood to swt the stoMellm search and obtain Goosebump books. She inquired if a better Drice on tent rentals could be obtained ifthey look into the rental at this time. Ms. Mali stated they would look into renting the tents early: howevee, the ntal was very expensive. She advised the carnival would be held on Monday night as an ahemative to Triokbr-Treating 6.
