CALL TO ORDER Ms. Huttner called the meeting to order at 7:2© p.m. Due to the lack of a quorum, no meeting was held. A discussion was held with respect to planning the Dog Show. Ms. Lomax discussed the progress of the preparations for the Dog Show. Members shared what donations they had received and the donations that were still needed. Members divided up the different restaurants and businesses in town they stiii wanted to ask for donations from. Ms. Lomax asked that the items donated to the city be brought to her office no Later than Wednesday, September 10, 1997 so she would have enough time to put together the price packages, A big poster board with a list of sponsers of the dog show will be created. Ms. Huttner said that the Pepsi wagon and the hot dogs and hot dog buns for the dog show have not yet been confirmed. Ms. Lomax stated she had visited Pet Smart and left a card. Anacare, Supreme Leather Restorers, and McDonalds donated toward the show. There will be T-shirts given as first place prize. The members are continuing to collect prizes for the show. Ms Kane obtained free horse back rides as a prize far the show and Winn-Dixie will donate more toys. Ms. Kane offered to go to same of the pizza places in town to seek additional donations.
