1). CALL TO ORDER.
Mr. Wons called the meeting to order at 7:15p.m.
2). PUBLIC PARTIC»E'ATION.
There was no public participation.
3). OLD BUSINESS.
A. APPROVAL OF THE 3/5/96 MEETIlYG.
A motion to approve the March 5, 1996 minutes was made by Mrs.
Kane. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Latimer, and passed by a d
voice vote.
B. DIRECTORS REPORT.
Mr. Wons handed out the board appreciation certificates to those who had not
attended the Board Appreciation Dinner.
Ms. Kane thought that the egg hunt went well. Ms. Latimer detected a slight
dilemma on the 7 year old's field because the children were stretching the number
of eggs they actually had. The suggestion was made that maybe next year they
could have the scouts help count the number of eggs the children have collected.
Ms. Kane wanted to know what to do with the gift certificates they received from
the grocery stores. She would like to see them used for needy families.

After much discussion among the board members as to where to use the gift
certificates, various suggestions were made sucha as using the certificates to get
some goodies for the Longwood Retirement Center residents, needy families,
humane Society. Ms. Lomax said she would look into getting an extension on the
one gift certificates before it expires..
Ms. Kane moved to donate $20.00 certificate to the Humane Society.
and use the other certificate for an additional good deed. Ms. I-[uttner
seconded the motion. Motion carried by Unanimous voice vote.
Mr. Wons would like to incorporate the assistance of the other boards in the Parks
and Rec. events to get the boards working together for next year's Easter egg hunt.
Mr. Wons is considering suspending the next months board meeting.
Motion was made to suspend next month's meeting by Ms. tluttner.
The motion was seconded by Ms. Latimer. The motion was supported
by an unanimous voice vote
The next scheduled meeting will be July 2, 1996.

A. DOG SHOW.
Mr. Wons will contact Supreme Leather restorers for leashes and collars. and
Longwood shoe repair far chews. '
The dog show this year will be held on September 21, 1996.
At the next meeting the board will look at what changes are to be made for the
next Dog Show. The board will also look at the categories for the show.
5. ADJOURl~1lBI~1T
Motion was made to adjourn the meeting by Ms. Buttner. The motion was
seconded by Ms. Latimer.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
