1. The meeting was called to order by Mr. Linton
2. Approval of Minutes: fir. Linton asked the LPA to take a few minutes to read
over the December 9, 198] Minutes.
Motion by Mr. Xayni e, s tootled by Hr. Harimo nd Co approve the December 9, 198]
Minutes as written. Motion carried by a una n,mous roll call vote.
Mr. Linton noted that Mr. Pope was absent. Mr. Nagle stated Mr. Pope's neighbor
called and said Itr. Pope would be absent this a inq as M1ir. Pope w isti ng
him with a problem due to a house fire and Mr. Pope had to go out ofs town unex-
pectedly.
3. Variance - Applicant/Owner: 41i 11 tams, Williams end IJil l tams. Location: Lot 30,
Block D, Columbus Harbor. Request to allow a rear setback of 20' in lieu of the
required 28' rear setback. Zoning R-1 A.

Motion by l1r. Haynie, s conded by fir. Thompsen, to re impend approval of the
request to allow a re setback of 20' in lieu of the requiretl 25' rear
setbac ke 11ation carried by a unanimous roll call vote.
The LPA stated they believed the house would conform to the rest of the develop
ment, especially tlue to the i regal art tJ of the shape of the lot.

approval of proposed Ordinance Ilo. 039 as submitted tDmthe LPA. Motion carried

The LPA discussed Mr. Pope's absences s e his appointment in October and it was
the co of the LPA that a letter becwri tten to Mr. Pope, signed by the
Chai ind ica ring the LPA'$ c r his absences from the meeti nqs and
as ki ngawhat his intentions are regard i nqv [he Land Planning Agency and requesting
a reply to the letter.
Mr. Linton asked that the LPA be furnished all the re sed portions of the Comp.
Plan Update. Mr, Nagle said he would supply all workv that has been approved by
the Comp, Plan Committee to date to the LPA.
