The meeting was called Lo order ai 7:00 P.11. by Mr. Linton. 2. Approval of Fli notes ¢f 1larch Il, 196I: Notion by FIr. Wickham, seconded by Idr. Hammond, to approve the Flarch 11, 198] Ili notes as submitted. Ilo ti¢n carried by a unanimous roll call vote. 3. Site Plan - Garden Chapel Funeral Home - location: SR 434, east of oleander Street. Applicant: Cy Case, Trustee. ?oni ng C-2 (SP 12-86) Mr. Nagle presented the LPA with a letter from the Sa~li note Loun ty traffic engineer which, he explained, wa ourtesy re reyardi n9 traffic flow for [he Dropo s etl site. fle further ex pl ai ned¢that the applicant had obtained a DDT permit and the site meets the nit niinum State requirements. Mr. Wickham questioned the one foot dimension shown for the landscaping buffer on The west property line. Mr. Nagle stated the scaling verified the landscaping was three feet wide as required although the note shews one foot. Mr. Pflueg er stated he would co rect the plan. Ii was noted that the dimensions, when added, e eeded the site width dimension. 19r. P fl ueger stated he would recalculate andxadj a st where ne sary and stated he was not su e where the problem was but bel ievetl the boil din9chad been shortened but the plan did no reflect the change in e of the building. Mr. Wickham questioned item 3 of Flr. Na91 e's March 4, 798] letter which sta ted:the irrigation systan and backflow preventor had not been shown on the plan. Mr. Pfl ueger stated a professional landscape plan will be done. He further stated notes on the plan indicate a back- flow preventor will be installed. 11r. Pfl ueger further stated the basic concept of the sprinkler systel and landscaping plan meets the City code and the minor details will be left up to the individual laying the system.. Ne further stated that the basic landscape layout wilt be followed. Flr. There was tlis- Ssion as to whethero the City could impose stricter standards Lhan the DDT required. Ilr. Ds Berger, an agent for Garden Chapel, stated he believed part of the agreement between the Li ty and Garden Chapel during litigation, was that the DDT standards would be acceptable. Motion by Mr. Wickham, s onded by Idr. He further stated no e of the trees would be removed at present within the ar of Phase T[. Mr. Jordan stated he would be willing to compromise. He would not object to the bank but did object to the Pizza liu t. Ffr. Mr. Korn,an stated a strip enter wawa pernii tted us n the district but many were vacant within the City at this time and they bel ievedl that the City would benefit from quality tenants as being proposed. He further stated they they were providing an extremely large buffer between the pa rki nq ar and the Jordan property and also would be prgvi tli ng a brick wall. Plagle stated Mr. butch has wntacted Mr. Martin regarding the possible loss of trees due to clearing o ns t roc tion activity. Nagle stated it appeared that areas o£ concern have been resolved with the cep tion of the use of the building which can be handled by a memo from the City Attorney. Motion by Mr. Wickham, seco ndetl by htr. Xanmo ntl, to request Flr.
