1. The meeting was called to order by Mr. Li nion at J:DO P.11.
2. Approval of Minutes of June 25, 1986: Mr. Linton asked that the Minutes of
June 25, 1986 reflect that Mr. Linton and Mr. Haynie had excused absences
for February 26, 1986 antl that Mr. Linton had an used absence on April 24,
1986. Motion by Mr. Wickham, s conded by Mr. Hammond to approve the Minutes
of the June 25, 1986 with the addition of the statement that Mr. Linton and Mr.
Haynie Fad ex used absences for the meeting of February 26, 1986 and Mr. Linton
had an used absence for the meeting of April 24, 1986. Motion ca ried by a
four toezem vote with Messrs. Nayn ie, Namnond, Li nton, and Wickham voting aye
and Mr. Cochrane abs tai ni n9 as he was absent from the June 25, 1986 meeti n9.
3. Final Plan and Plat - Danbury Milt Unit Three-A. Developer: panbury, Ltd.
Location: Y1 side of Lake Enma Road, opposite Ma rkM1am Hills Subdi vts ion.
Mr. Nagle statetl most of the items on his comment letter dated July ], 1986 we
standard procedures prior to recording the plat antl that he and the City Attorney
would assure that they are completed prior to bet n9 taken to be recorded.
Motion by Mr. 41ickM1am, s conded by Mr. Haynie, to re mm~end approval of the final
plat for Danbury Mill Unit Three-A subject to the app? icant complyi n9 with the
cents of City Planner dated July ], 1986 and the comments of Dyer, Riddl e, Mills
and Precourt in letter da teJ June 26, 1986. Motion carri etl by a unanimous roll
call vote,
4. Additional Discussion Items.
1. Public Hearing scheduled for July 3U, 198fi for Comprehensive Plan Pmentl-
ments.
Mr. Nagle stated due to len9 thy and complicated advertising required for
mendments to Comprehensive Plan, a Public Hearing had tentatively been
s chetlul ed for July 30, 1986 for the land Planning Agencyand asked far a
confi nna ti on on the sug9es ted date.
Notion by Mr. Haynie, s <o nded by Mr. Lochs ne, to seta Public Hea ri n9 for
]: DD P.11., on July 30, 1986 for the Land Planning Agency for the amendments
to the Comprehensive Plan to be heard. Motion carried by a unanimous roll
call vote.
Mr. Nagle stated the planning consultants, Ivey, Bennett, Harris and Walls,
re begi nni nq to 9a ther data to begin the Comprehensive Plan update. He stated
they have suggested that joint sessions of the City Commission and the Land
Planning Agency be schetl ul ed, possibly around the first week in August, mainly

what the process is ompo s ed of. He stated a fotlowup meeting would be schedul etl
at which time they would request ideas from the Lonniissi on and lPR as to what
rang with the present Plan, ideas of what is wanted in the plan and

the general public. llr. tlagle asked Che members of YM1e LPA to try to get
interested people to participate as part of a task force in wp rki ng on the P1 an.
He stated they did not necessarily have to be residents of the City.
It was the co of opinion of the Land Planning Rgency that if it was
sa ry to getnany infornm tion to the LPA other than the regular agenda material,
tha is the Police Oepa rinent would be asked to deiiver to their homes. All members
stated material couid be left inside their front sc en door or at their front
door if there was no en door and that the Pol iceeshould be instructed to leave
the materials if no was at home rather than take it back to the Police Station

Mr. Linton suggested that land Planning Agency rules and procedures should be
adopted so there would be no question as to what procedure should be followed
if d question a Nr. li nton di s[r ibu ted copies of the Li ty Connissi on Rules
and Procedures too be used as a guide.

for the LPA as an agenda eit~i for the next regularly scheduled LPA meeting.
