1. The meeting was called to order by Mr. Ilammontl at Z:00 PFI.
2. hlr. Nagle stated the CPA's re nendati on to advertise fora Ul an ni ng consultant
to assist with the Comprehensive Plan update had been forwarded to the City Commission
and [he City Lmmission had authorized [hat an ad be placed in the newspaper and
that sl re fi nns be contacted by letter/telephone and that an outline of the
scope of ~e with a not to exceed" figure of 312,500 be included in the ad.
They fu rthervas ked that proposals be accepted up to eight days from the date of
the advertisement in the newspaper. Flr. Nagle stated that the ad was placed in the
wspa per on February 2 and 3, 1986. Flr. Nagle further stated that the monies had
not yet been authorized but that an ordinance had been passed on first reading on
February 3, 1966, Du bl is hearing scheduled for Ptarch 3, 1906, to authorize the
fundi nq.
Mr. Wickham submitted the final portion of h'is Evaluation and ADDrai sal of the Lomp
Plan for the Parks and Recreation, Population and Economics and Conservation and
Natural Features.
Mr. Hammond sta tetl he was still working on his Dortion dealing with Traffic Circulation
and Transportation.
F1r. Loch rane stated he was also still worki n9 on his portion dealing with Water/
Sewer/U ra inage and Sol itl Waste and was conferring the the City Engineer.
Mr. Na91e asked the LPA members if there were any other burning i es that they
would like to se esol ved before the moratorium was lifted. Mrs sNagle stated he
would like to se a drainage ordinance adopted. Flr. Wickham stated he would like
to s e the sign ordinance r - orked. Mr. Nagle agreed that the sign ortli nonce
needed to be re sed but stated it would require a great deal of work to re or
write. Mr. Wickham stated he had a sign ordinance that had been Lested andse
offered to give Plr. Nagle a copy to revs ew.
Motion by Mr. Wic khans, s carded by IAr. Nayni e, to schedule a pork se on for
February 5, 1986 for then submi ttal of all EAR's and to schedule a eeti ng far
February 12, 1986 for review of all EAR's. Flotion carried by a unanimous vof ce
3. There were no additional discussion itmis
4. Motion to adjourn by Mr. Haynie, seconded by Mr. Loch ra ne. Motion carried
by a unanimous voice vote.
