Nayn ie, Chairman Emery Mei neke Harvey Smeri lson Harry Lindsey R. A. Bryant, Building Official Geri Zambri, Recording Secretary Rbsent: Robert Hammond 1. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Mr. Haynie. Rpproval of Mi nukes of September 8, 1982 Meeting: Motion by Mr. Mei neke, s cond by Mr. Smerilson to approve Lhe Minutes of the September 8, 1982 Meeti nq as wrf tten. Motion carried by a unanimous roll call vote. 2. FINAL PLAT - ST. LAURENT COMMERCE PARK - A Commercial and Industrial Subdivision - Zoning -C-3 and I-2, Loc ti on: South side of SR 434 between Aan9el ine Road and CR42Z. Developer: St. Laurent Properties, [nc. Philip Tatich of St. Laurent Properties, Inc. '\ and Phillip Hollis of Boyle Engi need ng present. Mr. Bryant presented the site plan saying ii was the Final en9i neeri ng drawings and that the Lf ty Engineer's letter and Fire Department's letters w e attached. He stated that the hydrants will be determf ned when individual site plans ea submitted. Mr. Bryant explained that on his letter he mentioned the fact that sane of the land was flood prone but had been brought up tq proper elevations. Mr. Haynie stated that it important that the Buf ldi nq Department was aw re that the property had been flood prone and that it had been brought into conformance with the National Flood Insurance Program's minimum building elevations. Mr. Tatich asked if he could address the comments in the City Engineer's letterof 1D-]-82. Regarding Canment 1: Mr. Tatich said they agreed and would conform to Mr, Land's request and stated that previously Comm ssion had asked that the street section be s they indicated on Sheet 10 of the Final drawings, but the developer and engineer re in agreement with Mr. Land and would re sed drawi n9s to show the street section as Mr. Land requested. Regarding Coimnent 2Vr Developer stated agreement to Mr. Land's re ommendation. Regarding Comment 3: Oeve lgper stated ag reanent to Mr. Land's comments.[ Motion by Mr. Me ineke, s cond by Mr. Smerilson to re mmend approval of the Final Plat of the St. Laurent Commerce Park to City Ca~i ssion with the stipulation that developer comply with City Engineer's re ommenda bons in letter dated October Z, 1982. Motion carried by a unanimous roll call vote. 3. FINAL PLAT - Longwood Hills Unit 2 (Formerly Forest Ni lls Unit 2) R-1 Subdivision -.` 9-186-51 acre28 lots - Located on the South slde of Longwood llrT Road directly north of the La ntli ngs. Developer: ZOM Fi rest Hills Ltd. Mr. Bryant presented the site plan stated it was on the souihsi de of Longwood Hills Road opposite Lake Emma Road and that the plan has been approved for the intended us ,n the County and is now in the process of being annexed into the Li ty of Longwood. e Land Planning Agency - 2 - October 13, 1982 This is being presented as a final plan because it has been appreved for the same zoning category in the County. Mr. Smeril son questioned whether a letter from the Utility Company had been sent stating that they had capacity for this subdivision. Nr. Lf ntlsey questioned the 24' wide streets and Mr. Bryant stated they were acceptable. Mr. Haynie questioned if the cul-de-sacs were adequate for fire trucks and Mr. Bryant said yes. Motion by Mr. Ileineke, second by Mr. Lindsey to re mmend approval of Longwood Hills Unit 2 Subdivision as presented to the City Commission. Motion carried 6y a unanimous roll call vote, 4.
