The land Planning Agency of the City of Longwood held a Special Meeting on
October 20, 1961 in the Longwood Commission Chambers.

2. Mr. Bryant presented a drawing showi n9 the minimum lot s,ze for i-1 and I-2.
He showed Lhat in I-1, due Lo the setback requirements, only about 42% of the
total lot area is bui ltlab le; while in [-2, approximately 55% of the total lot
s buildable. He also explained the C-1, C-2 and C-3 setbacks, showing
howathe C-2 and C-3 side setbacks require only ten feet, interior-one side,
although Mr. Bryant felt that 15 feet is really needed. A15o, no interior side
yard is required if vehicular access to re r of boil di n9 is provided. [-1
requires a total of 30 fn side setbacks onaa um lots e of 10,000 sq. ft.
[-2 has a 15 foot side set back on um tot~s~ e of 20 000 sq. ft. There
fs a big difference in usable spaceafornb uildi ngs. ZMr. Hammond questioned if
it was felt that this wa mistake. Mr. Bryant said he believed it was and
that it had ne er been co ratted in the I-1 a I~Ir. Smeri lson suggested that
they be consistent and gorio a 15 foot setbackedn [-1 also.

setback to read s the I-2 setbacks read in regards to side set backs, "Side
Setback (minimum) 15 feet, One Interior per structure, Lorner 25 feet." Mr.
Smerilson also suggested that Lommi ssf on take this re mendati on as an
Administrative co recti on due to an n transcription, as this would not
require a Public Hearing. Motion seconded~by Mr. Hammond. Motion carried by
unanimous roll call vote.
