The Longwood Land Planning Agency held a Dubl is hearing _on the Comprehensive
Land Vse Plan for Longwood.
Present: Robert Hammond, Ray Lei bensperger, Andy Semi nazzi, Frederick Ritter
and H.N. Haynie. Also Dresent was Mr. Lee, City Planner.
Mr. Lee spoke to the L.P.A. and the audience concerning the plan. Mr. Lee
stated the plan does in no way restrict the use of land without the impl ementati on,,
of further ardi na nces.
Mr. Lei bensperger questioned the population fi9uresi_ncl uded in the plan.
No one in the audience spo ke ei ther for or against the proposed plan.
The chairman closed the public hearing.

The Longwood Land Planning Agency held a special meeting foll owf ng the
public hearing. Present: Robert Hammond, Ray Lei bensperger, Andy Semi nazzi,
Frederick Ritter and H.N. Haynie. Also present was Mr. Lee, City Planner.
The chairman called the meeting to order. ADProval of minutes of June 15
work se and Jvne 22 work session and regular meeting: The minutes were
apProvedsas written.
7. Comprehensive Land Use Plan for Longwood: Motion by Mr. Semi na zzi, second
by Plr. Haynie that the Land Planning Agency submit to city council and re mend
approval of the comprehensive Land Use Plan as it now stands with the underm
standing that the plan will be studied further by the agency and any amend-
ments to it will also be submf tted. Roli call vote: Unanimous, motion carried.
2. Mr. George St. Laurent request far site plan approval of Winn-Dixie store
and other stores to he located on the corner of Range Line Rd. and SR 434:
Mr. St. Laurent was present to present plans to the L.P.A. and stated the
foliowi ng: The tract is apporxima tely 9 ac 31.6 percent will be green

fora 25-year storm, 24-hour duration; pop-o£f area has been provided at
the west end of the property.

3. Mr. St. Laurent stated that he had met with Mr. Land of Lantl Engineering
regarding drainage and while Mr. Land indicated approval, he plans to review
the plans further before reconmendi ng aDproval to council.
4. Mr. St. Laurent also stated that he had met with ~epa rtment of Trans-
portation regarding curb cuts and they had indicated approval.
5. Mr. Lei bensperger stated that he could not act on this site plan until
he has seen correspondence from the city engi neer regarding drainage.
6. Motion by Mr. Seminazzi, s contl by Mr. Haynie that the Land Planning
Agency accept the preliminary plat of the Winn-Dixie shopping center and
amend approval to city council based on approval of the city engineer
ofcthe proposed plan. Ro11 call vote: Mr. Haynie, Mr. Seminazzi, Mr. Hammond:
Ves. Mr. Le ibensperger, Mr. Ritter: No. Motion carried 3-2.
]. Motion by Mr. Seminazzi, s contl by Mr. Lei bens perger to adjourn the
meeting. Vote unanimous, motion carried. The meeting was adjourned.
