Present: Robert Hammond, Frederick Ritter, Ray Lei bens perger, Andy Semi nazzi and N.H. Haynie. Also present was Mr. Lee, Li ty Planner and Ned Julian Jr., City Attorney. i. Approval of minutes of regal ar meeting, May 11, 19]J: The minutes were read and approved. 2. Mr: Julian spoke to the members rega rtli ng time guidelines for the city's Comprehensive Land Use Plan. If city co ncil c nnot adopt the plan by October 1, 19J'/, then under the terms ofnthe Comprehensive Land Planning Act, special agency will be created and Lhey will come into the city and write an independent Dl an for the city. 3. Mr. Julian has directed a letter to city council and the land pl ann in9 agency regarding this matter of time quideli nes and has set up some guide- lines far actf on. Mr. Julian su9ges ted that the land pi anni n9 agency complete its work on the plan and hold its public heart nq no later than July 6, 19]]. This wilt be a public heart nq on the completed plan as it will be submi ttetl r to city council. The plan should be considered by council no later than July 11, 19JJ. A71 agencies that the plan is sent to have 60 days to nment on it. September 12, 19]] would be a tentative date for the first public hearing by city co ncf 1. If the city does not re replies from all agencies that were Sent copies Of the plan, they mu stahold a cond public hearing. Florida Residential Communities Inc. request to change zoning from R-M to R-2 of property located West and North of E.E. Williamson Road: Mr. B.D. Simpson spoke to Lhe board representing Florida Residential Loamuni ti es. The developers plan to construct mi ni mvm 1200 sq. ft. homes on the lots. They will also be asking for preliminary plat approval. They asking for zoning change only on a portion of the entire tract that they o~m. Approx'i ma to ly 29 acres of 46 acres total. 5. Motion by Mr. Haynie, second by Mr. Semi na zzi to accept the preliminary plat of Wi ndtree West and re mmend approval to city co cil. Bennett Corporation request to change zoning from R-2 to Commercial of property located on SE co r of Range Line Road and E.E. Williamson Road. M1Ir. Bennett was pre s enteand stated that his jab is to find and develop locations for Handy Way Food Stores and plans to use this site for that purpose if the request is granted. The plot is aDProximately 150 ft. by 150 ft. Mr. Bennett stated that the pl an5 call for retai ninq most of the trees that are located on the property.
