The Longwood Land Pl anni nq Agency held its regular meeting at ]:30 p.m.
Present: Robert Nanvnond. Ray Lei bensperger, Frederick Ritter and
M.H. Haynie. Absent: Andy Semi naz zi. Also present was Mr. Lee, City
Planner.
1. The chairman called the meeting to order. ApPrpval of minutes
of May 26 regular meeting: Additions and co rections. Paragraph p 6:
Atld that Mr. James Bowyer P.E. stated that the entranceway to Hi ndtree
West would not be in close proximity to the entranceway of Highland Hills
5/0. The minutes were approved with this addition.
2. Final plat of Spri ngwood Subdivision: Mr. B.D. Simpson, agent
for Ace Builders Inc.. requested that the requirement to install dry se
lines be waived For Sprf ngwood Su bdf vi sf on. Mr. Simpson stated that itwer
would cost approximately $12,000 [p install these lines and with no use
for them in the fmnedi ate future.
3. Motion by Mr. Haynie, second by Mr. Ritter that the Lantl Planning
Agency re amend to city co ncil that the requirement to install s
lines a set forth in Ordinance 23] be waived for SPri ngwood Subdi vWSf on.
becauses there will be no faiil sites available to attach these lines to
n the immediate future. Roll call vote: Mr. Lei bensperger, Mr. Nanmond:
No. Mr. Ritter, Mr, Haynie: Ves. Motion fails 2-2.
4. Mr. Lei bensperger stated that he voted agai nst the motion because
he feels that the city will have a er plant in the near future and the
cost would be prohibitive to tear upethestreets and install the lines
at that time.

been submitted to Land Enqi neeri ng and they have submitted a letter to
council and L.P. A, rega rtli ng the plans. (See attached)
6. Motion by Mr. Lei bensperger, second by Mr. Rf tier to accept the
final plat of Springwood Subdivision and re amend approval to city
council, Ro11 call vote: Unanimous, motion carried.
7. Mr. Lee di SCUS Sed with the members the Comprehensive Land Use
Plan for the city. The L.P.A. will hold a public hearing on Lhe plan
on July 6, 19]]. The L.P.A. will also M1old a work session on the plan
on June 15, 19]] at ]:00 p.m.
8. Motion by Mr. Nayni e, second by Mr. Ritter to adjourn the meeting.
Vote unanl mous, motion carried. The meeting was adjourned.
