RESOLUTION NO. 05-1114
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA,
URGING MEMBERS OF THE FLORIDA LEGISLATURE TO
SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING GROWTH MANAGEMENT
ISSUES DURING THE 2005 LEGISLATIVE SESSION.
WHEREAS, Florida's Growth Mamgem nt Act es w created in 1985 in an eDbrt to create
a blueprint for gowdr in Florida's cities and counties; and
WHEREAS, cilia and counties pion fib, fupue growth thmugh IoW—pmhemive

and
WHEREAS, as Florida's population waima m inamse, cities are challenged to meet

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By THE CITY OF LONGWOOD'.
