THE MARKHAM HILLS CAPITAL AND MAIN "I I NANCE
ASSESSMENT AREA IMPOSING SPECIAL
ASSESSMENTS AND ESTABLISHING THE MAXIMUM
ANNUAL AMOUNT FOR EACH TAX PARCEL:

WHEREAS, the City Commission oftlte City 11 Longwood, Florida (the "City
Commission') enacted Ordinance No. 01-1574 on lone 18, 2001, as amended end
supplemented by Ordinance No, 04-1701, enacted by the City Commission on July 19, 2004
(collectively, the"Ordinance') to provide forth, imposition of special assesmtents to fund

\ HEREAS, on August 15,2005,the Ciry Commission adopted ResolutionNo.05-

Cfpitfl and Maintenance Assessment Area and describing the method of assessing the
Capitai Cott and the Maintenance Cost of the Marl:h— Bills Local Improvements (as

WHEREAS, punuant m the provisions of the Ordinance, the CA Commission is

interested parties; and

interested persons have been heard and considered as requited by the firms oFlhe Ordinance.

THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. AUFHORITY. This Resolution is adopted pursuant to the
Ordinance, Chapter 166. Florida S—tes. and other applicable provisions of law'.
SECTION 2. DEFINITIONS. This Resolution is the Final Assessment
Resolution as defined in tho Initial Assessment Resolution. All oo14o1-d taints m'his
Resolution shall have the meanings deemed ht the Ordinance and the mi[ial Assessment
Re-mnon.
SECTION I. CREATION OF THE ASSESSMENT AREA. The M.kh.

The methodology for computing annual Capital Assessntenis described m the Initial
Assessment Resolution is hereby approved. Annual Capital Assesstnente computed m the
manner described m the Initial Assessment Resolution are hereby levied and imposed - all
Tax Parcels described m till Capilnl Assessment Roll, Tex Parcels Iocmed m the Markham

Maintenance Assessments computed is the manner described in the Initial Assessment
Resol,l— are hereby levied and imposed on all Tax Parcels described in the Maintenance
Asses-- Roll, Tax Pare0, located in the Markham Hills Capital and Maintenance
Assessment Area shall have a maximum annual Maintenance Assess.- rate of SO per
