A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
BALLOT LANGUAGE FOR THE PROPOSED CHARTER
AMENDMENTS TO BE PLACED ON THE BALLOT FOR
THE NOVEMBER & 2005 CITY OF LONGWOOD
ELECTION, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a Charter Advisory Committee, in accordance with the City of
Longwood City Charter, met and reviewed the City Charter and made recommendations
to the City Commission for proposed amendments to the Charter; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has mat and oonsid—d the recommendations
of the Charter Advisory Committee and the recommendation ofth, City Attorney; and
WHEREAS, by the adoption of Ordinance No. 05-1758, has placed two ofth,
proposed amendments on the ballot for consideration of the voters at the November 8,
2005 City Election; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that each question be wrinen so It not W excced

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE COY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
