NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSIONOF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. AUTHORITY. This Resolution is adopted pursuant to the Ordinance,Chapter 166,Florid, Statutes, and other applicable provisions TIota. SECTION 2. DEFINITIONS. This Resolution is the Final Assessment Resolution es defined in the Initial Assessment Resolution All capitalized [arms in this Resolution shall have the meetings defined in the Ordinance and the Initial Assessment IIiS-id11It= SECTION 3. CREATION OF THE ASSESSMENT AREA. The Golden Gtnve Maintenance Asa C,mt—is heebycreated toincludethe Tax Pazcelsdexribed in Appendi, A here to, The Golden Grove Maintenance Assessment Area is created for the purpose of,bh ..ing the use and epjoymemof coal property located therein by funding the Maintenance Cost of the Gulden Grove L-1 Improvements. SECTION d. CONFIRMATION OF INITIAL ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION. The Initial Assessment Resolution is hereby contimted. SECTION 5. APPROVAL OF ASSESSMENT ROLL. The Assessment Roll, a copy of which is attached hereto as Appmtdu A, is hereby approved. SECTION 6. MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENTS (A) The Tax Parcels described in the Assessment Roll ere hereby found w be specially beoeilted by the Maintenance of the Golden Grove Local ]mprovements in the amount ofthe mactmum nnnuol Maintenance Assessment set forth in the Assessment Roll. The methodology for computing annual Maintenance Assessments described in the Initial Assessment Resolution is hereby approved. Annual Maintenance Assessments computed in the manner described in the Initial Aseess - Resol anon ore hereby leviedandimposedon all Tav Parcels described to the Assessment Roll. Tax Parcels located in the Golden Grove Maintenance Assessment Area shall have e maximum annual Maintenance Assessment mte of SI 10.00 per Platted TO. ----mg with the — bill mailed in October or November 2005. Upon adoption of the Annual Asscssment Resolution for each Fiscal Year. the Assessment Coordinator shall canal the certification end delivery ofthe Auessmen[ Roll to the'fax Collector by September 15, in the manner prescribed by the Ulifbrm Assessment Collection Act. The Assessment Roll, as delivered to the Taz Collector, shall be I-,m nied by ,Certificate to Nob -Ad Valorem Assessmenis in substantially the form nnached heeto as Appendix E. SECTION 8. EFFECT OF FINAL ASSESSMENT RESOLUTI(N. The ndoption ofthis Resolution shall be the fins) adjudication of the issues presented herein and m the Initial Assessment Resolution(ineludingbut-I l imiIdto,the method by which the Maintenance Assessments will be computed, the Assessment Roll, the maximum annual Mnintenance Assessment and the levy end lien of the Maintenance Assessments) unless proper steps are Initiated In a court ofcompetent Juriadiaion to secure reliefwithiu 10 days from the date of City Commission action on [his Resolution. SECTION 9. ASSESSMENT NOTICE.
