A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
CALNO TO DEVELOP AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR THE ES'I ARLISHMENT
OF A LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACCESS TELEVISION CHANNEL FOR THE
GOVERNMENTAL ENTITLES WITHIN SEMINOLE COUNTY. FLORIDA,
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it may be cost prohibitive for —,I, municipal government to establish,
operate and mammm a quality twenty-four (24) hour taleviston channel: and
WHEREAS. the City, County_ and School board governmental entities in Seminole
County. Florida, could in cooperation with each other and tho cable opuatora, combine their
resources man eficient manner designed to esmblish a quality gOvemmental access shame) to
enhance the educational, social and economic quality of life oFthe citizens of Seminole County,
Florida
NOW, THEREFORE_ BE IT ESTABLISHED AND RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF
LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTIFIN1.- CALNO is hereby authorized to devolop an InterlocaI Agreement by and
between the municipalities. county and School board of Seminole County,Florida. Said
agreement would include but not be limited to the following to ms_
A The govrnmets pooling theirresourceslbr the establishment ofa quality I—F,

B. The allocation oftime on the channel for each gov mment entity.
C The sole control of programming and its content shall be the exclusive discretion
and prerogative of the govemmenml cntiry utilivng the channel time. Theis,aech
government shall control its own programming time_
D. The Imerlocal Agreement shall be subject F, ratification by each governmental entity.
