A RESOLUTION OF THE CTTY COMMISSION OETHE CTTY OF LONGWOOD,
FLORIDA, ACCEPTWG AND APPROVWG THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CTTY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA. AND THE WTERNATIONAL UNION OF
OPERAT WO ENOWEERS. LOCAL 673, COVERWG ]'HE PERIOD OCTOBER I,
1995 THROUCIH SEl'TEMHER 30. 1998.
WHEREAS. the Flonde Callec[iva Bargaining Law provides for negotiations between the
City of Longwood and employees represented by a labor organlza[ion~, and
WHEREAS. the City of Longwood and the International Union of Operating Engineers,
Local 6]3. have held numerous meetings and havejolntly developed an Agreement to assure
sound end mutually benefcial working and economic mlationshlps between the parties: and
WHEREAS. City employees represented by the International Union of Operating
Engineers. Local 673. have ratified the conircu for three (3) years by egteementbuween the
panies-hereto attached.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED AS POLLOWS:
1. That the attached agreement between the City of Longwood and the lnwsnational
Union of Opeating Engineers, Lnea16?3, is heeby incepted end approved effective October 1,
1995.
2. That dte Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the Agreement on behalf of the City
of Longwood. Florida.
