Council.
2. MEMBERSHIP.
The business Advisory Council shall ccns.st of seven

to the residency or employment requixxments as set fcrtn
Hereinafter. All membera snarl be appointee ny ana sere at the
pleaaure of the City Commission. Each Commass.oner shalt
nom.nate a r..embex to represent their tlistzi ct. Memnexs of the
eusiness Advi scary Council nominated by Commissioners shalt reside
witnin the corporate limits o£ the City o£ L gwood, own a
bsssiness or be employed within the corporate City limits of
Longwood. Except for the prow isiona that are ..n conflict with
the provisions herein, the members shall be appointed pursuant to
the appointmenT procedure as provided fax in C apter 2, ARTSCLE
Y1, Bection '..-138.1 and in addition:
A. The members appointed shall serve one (3) year
terms to run concurrently witn the calendar year.
B. The chairman antl officers o. the Business Advisory
Council shall be elected by [he members of the
Council.
C. The members of the 6usvress Advisory Council stall
recevve no compensatiov.
3. MEET INGS AND FROCEDIIRES.
Within shirty (30) days o. the adoption o£ this
Resolution, the Business Advisory Council snail meet a. an
appropriate place antl shall err g a time for holding regular
meetings. The Business Atlvi sory Council, within its di scretian
and witR the guidance and assrs..ance o£ the City Commission and
City Staff, shall assv st the C p ommiseion in attract inq
quality nusinesses into the City oY Longwood.
