No supervisor or other employee shall threaten or insinuate, either explicitly or implicitly, [ha[ another employees's, applicant's, or member of the public's refusal to submit to sexual advances will atlvers ely affect that person's employment, work status, evaluation, wages, atlvancement, assigned duties, shifts, or any other condttion of employment or recet pt o£ City services. Similarly, no supervisor or other employee shall promise, tmply, or grant any prefe[e n[ial treatment in exchange for another employee, applicant, or citizen engaging in sexual contluct of activity with him or her. pressure or requests for sexual acirvrtres, unnecessary touchi nq of an indivitlual, graphic verbal commentaries about an intlividual's body, sexually degrading wortls usetl to tlescribe an intliv itlual, a display in the workplace of sexually suggestive, wrr ti ngs, objects, or pictures, sexually explicit or offensive jokes, or physical assault. This kintl of conduct by an employee towartl another employee, job applicant, or member of the public is strictly forbidden. Adopeed: 11-21-94 Any employee who feels that he or she >s a victim of sexual harassment, in<Sutling but not limited to any of the conduct describetl above, by any supervisor, other employee, customer, client or any other person in connec [ron with the City of Longwood shoultl bring the matter to the immediate attention of his or hex Deatl, or as not satisfted after bringing the matter to the attention of his or her department heatl, shoultl report the matter to the Personnel/Administrative Officer. Members of the public should also take complaints to the Personnel/Administrative Of Eicer. Any questions about this policy of po[eneial sexual hams ament shoultl also be brought to the attention of the same persons. mhe City of Longwood will promptly investigate ali allegations of aexrtal harassment rn as conffaencial a manner as possible antl take appropriate corre<trve action if warranted.
