United States Constitution has always envisioned free, open, ste ei le, and uncontaminated communication between elected officials and their constituen and wHEREA , legislation is urgently needed in the State of Florida to restore and reopen communication channels between elected offlcials and their constituents. N , xEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Commission of the City o£ Longwood, Florida, as follows: sectvon I. That the Seminole County Legislative Delegation study recent decisions of the District Courts of Appeal of the State of Florida toward the end that: a. Decisions be consistently interpreted until reversed or modified by legislative pronouncement. b. Decisions and their impaci be understood. c. Legislation be advanced which reopens free, sCerile, and uncontaminated communicat ion channels between elected officials and 1 ineir ponetitnents. a.
