WRLLER FR041 THE OF F[LE OF LITY ADMINI- STRATOR OF THE LITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA. WHEREAS; the City Commission of ehe Lity of Longrood, Florida, has determined that it would be in tM1e best interest of the City of Longwootl, Florida, to remove Ronflld L. Waller from the office oP City Administrator; end WHEREAS; the City Commission of the City of Longwootl, Ft on da, states that the re on for re oval from office is that the City Commission of the City of Longwood, fl oridam is generally dissatisfied with Lhe moon r n which Ronald L. Waller has been performing the obligations and duties of the office of City Administrator and considers this conduct tantamount to malfeasance, mis- feasance or nonfeasance; WNEAEAS; Nm. Waller has not performetl hi.s duties as required by Section 4.OJ of the Li ty Lharter which makes him responsible to the commis on for the '~ administration of alt City affairs placed in his charge. Failure of Mr. Waller to require compliance with the termseof the loan agreement with Sun Bank has placed the City in technical tlefa ult and Nas delayed the City's efforts to obtain wastewater treatment service from Seminole Caun ty. b. lack of supervi sf on of the financial affairs of the f.i ty. Llaller's actions 1n bringing this matter before then Lommiss ion without listing [he subject qn the agenda and without providing information substantiating his request is nsi dered grossly improper. f. Lack of professional ethics. On M1ionday, Deocember 21, 198J, Mr. Waller requestetl the Lity Comfiii ssi on to amend his con ract with [he City so ~_ that M1e would be provided 12 monThs pay in thetevent of termination instead of [he 30 days written in the contract. NOW, THEREfORE, be it resol vetl by the City Comm ssi on of the Li ty of Longwood, Florida, as follows: Section l: the City L1 erk Of the Ci [y Of Longwood is nstruc ted to promptly deliver a copy of this Resolution to the Li ty Administrator. Section 2: Sn the event the City Atlmi ni strator does not file a written request for a hearing with the C'i ty Commission within five (5) days after a copy of the Resolution has been delivered; then in that event, the City Llerk is instructed to Dl ace "the matter of the r m val of City Administrator" on the Agenda of the nex regal arty scheduled Comni ssion meeti ny.
