Resolution 86-585RESOLUTION N0. 585 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, PDRSDANT TO FLORIDA STATUTE Mi IB 05, SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR APPEARANCE OF OWNERS OF PROPERTY OR OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS TO APPEAR BEFORE THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LONE"' N' FLORIDA WITH RESPECT TO THE IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE TO SHORT AVENUE, AND REQUIRING, PURSUANT TOFLORIDA STATDTE S1"l0.HE' SAID CITY COMMISSION TO SIT AS A BOARD OF EQUALIZATION, WITH REGARD ASSESSMENTS LEVIED ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS FOR PAYMENT POR IMPROVEMENTS, CONFLICTS, S EVERABILITY, EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Longwood, Florida, has adopted a resolution, pursuant to Florida Statute 5170.05, declaring special assessments for paving of short Avenue from its intersection with South Milwee Street (formerly SOutb west Lake Street) to its intersection with South Wilma Street, in the City of Longwood, Florida; and WHEREAS, the City of Longwood, Florida has caused to be prepared an assessment roll, setting forth the lots and lands assessed, the amount of benefit to and the assessment against each lot or parcel of land, and the number of annual installments in which the assessment rs to be divided; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That owners of property assessed, or any other persons therein, may appear before the City Commission of the r City of Longwood, Florida, on Monday, November 10, 19H6, at City Hall, 175 West Warren Avenue, Longwood, Florida, at the hour of 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as said matter may be called, for the pax pose of being heard, as to the propriety and advisability of paving of Short Avenue from its intersection with South Milwee Street (formerly south West Lake Street) to its intersection with South wil— Street, in the City of Longwood, Florida, to the cost of said improvements, to the manner of payment therefor, and as to the amount thereof to be assessed against each property so improved. 2.
