Resolution 86-579RESOLUTION NO. 579 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATUTE S170.03, DECLARING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR STREET PAVING AND DRAINAGE, DERIGNATION OF STREETS TO BE IMPROVED, DESIGNATION OF EXPE BE THEREOF, TO BE PAID BY SPECIAL ASSESSMENT, AND MANNER OF PAYMENT, DESCRIPTION OF LANDS ASSESSED, AND DECLARATION OF ESTSMATED COSTS, CONFLICTS, SEPARABILITY, EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the City Of Longwood, F1.1ida, deems it necessary t0 pave portion of South Milwee Sheet and North Milwee Stieet (formerly [Vest Lake Stieet) from its intersection with West Warren Avenue t0 its intersection with the existing pavement at north right of way line of Florida Avenue, in the City Of Longwood, Florida; and WHEREAS, the City Of Longwood, Florida, desires to pay for the cost of said paving by the levy of special assessments against Certain real property located within the City If Longwood, Florida, and being lands and lots adjoining, continuous to, bounding, and abutting upon the street t0 be improved; NOW, THEREFORE, 85 IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the nature of the proposed improvements to be made pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 170, Florida Statutes, shall be the paving of portion of South Milwee _ Street and North Milwee Street (formerly West Lake Street), within the City of Longwood, Florida, from its intersection with the existing pavement at north right of way line If Florida Avenue. 2. That ninety percent of the expense thereof shall be paid by special assessment against lands and lots in the City of Longwood, Florida, as hereinafter described, and that ten percent Of the expense thereof shall be paid by the City Of Longwood, Florida. 3.
