Resolution 86-576
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LONGW00D, FLGRIDA, PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATUTE 5170.03, DECLARING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR STREET PAVING AND DRAINAGE, DESIGNATION OF STREETS TO BE WHEREAS, the City of Longwood, Florida, deems it necessary t0 pave Short Avenue from its intersection with South Milwee Street (formerly South West Lake Street) to its intersection with South Wilma Street, in the City of Longwood, Florida; and WHEREAS, the City If Longwood, Florida, desires to pay for the cost of said paving by the levy of special assessments against certain real property located within the City of Longwood, Florida, and being lands and lots adjoining, continuous to, bounding, and abutting upon the street to be improved; COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the nature of the proposed improvements to be made pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 17G, Florida Statutes, shall be the paving of Ebo rt Avenue, within the City If Longwood, Florida, from its intersection with Soath Mil— Sit— (formerly South West Lake street) to its intersection with South Nil— Street. 2. That ninety percent of the expense thereof shall be paid by special assessment against lands and lots in the City of Longwood, Florida, a5 bereinafter described, and that ten percent of the expense thereof shall be paid by the City of Longwood, Florida. 3.
