WHEREAS, the Ci tl' of L q ood, Florida, has adopted
a resolution, pursuant to FLOrida Statute §1>0. 05, declaring
special assessments for paving of Orange Avenue, from its
rntersectron with Grant Street to its rote rs ectron with
County Road 427, rn the C of Longwood, Florida; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Longwood, Flo c.i.da has caused to
be prepared an assessment roll, setting forth the lots and
lands assessed, the amount of the benefit to and the
assessment against each lot or Parcel Uf land, and the
number of annual installments in which the said assessment
rs to be divided;
NOW, THEFEFORE, BC 2. RESOLVED EY THE CITY COM[4255ION
OF THF. CITY OF LONC.t'l00D, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That owners of property assessed, or any other
persons interested therein, may appear before the City
Commrssron of the City o£ Longtood, Plori da, on Monday,
April 26, 1982, at City Hall, 175 West Warren Avenue,
Longwood, Florida, at the hour of J:00 p.m., or as soon
thereafter as said matter may be called, foc the Purpose of
being heard, as to the propriety and advisability of the
paving of Orange Avenue, from its rote rsectron with
Grant Street to its rn tersectron with Cou v Road 427,
rn the City Of Longwood, Florida, to the cost of said
improvements, to the manner of payment therefore, and,
as to the amount thereof to be assessed against each
2. That, at the time and place as set forth in
Paragraph L pcecedin9, the City Commrssion of the City of
Longwood, Florida, shall meet as an equalizing board to
Tear and consider any and all comp lain is as to the special
assessments herein before declared, and shall adjust and
equalize said assessments on a basis of justice and right,
and when so equalized, approve same by ordinance of the
City o£ Longwood, Florida.
3. That the Clerk of the City of Longwood, Florida,
rs hereby directed to give written notice o£ said above
meeting, to each of the property owners whose names and
addresses are shown upon the assessment roll Prepared in
accordance with Florida Statute §1]O.o6, and so cause to
be published in the Sanford Rerald said notice, provided
that said notrce shall be published once during the week
of April 12, 1982 and once during the week of Aril 19, 1982.
4. That all resolutions in conflict herewith, be
and the same, are hereby r ealed.
5. That this Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon passage and adoption.
