NOW THEREFORE, BE li RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE C[TV OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I - All developers of subdivided lands within [he Li ty of Longwood, Florida, shall be required to pay unto Lhe City of Longwood a street light pole and fixture fee of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) per pole and fixture. Such fee shalt be used by the City to offset the cost of the street lighting contract between the City and r, Florida Power Corporation for a specified development. SECTION Ii - The City of Longwood shall contract with Florida Power Corp. and take total responsibility for the operations and timely payments of service charges from Florida Power Corp. for the operations of said street li 9hti nq system. Such ontract between the City and Fio rich Power Carp. shall be executed at the time of the completion and approval of the subdivision improvements. SE LT lON I!I - All developers of subdivided lands within the Li ty of Longwood shall pay the pole and lighting fee of Two Hu ndretl Ooll ars (52D0.00) per pole and fixture. This represents a twenty-four month contract fee for the pole and light. In the event the specified development i not ]5% o copied by ultimate u er at the end of the two-year period, the City will have the ri qht to as n additional year's cost of carry equal to the total number of street lights times the monthly rate per street light then in effect. This s me procedure can be repeated on an annual basis until such time az the subject tlevel opment is )B% occupied. /~ SECTION IV - The City shall approve the street light layout and location of all uch street lights fora specified tleve lopment. ibis shall be done and completed prior to the completion of the installation of all improvements, but in no event shall such approval postdate the issuance of the first Certificate of Occupancy within the development. SECTION V -This Resolution shall rem in in force during the fiscal years, 1981-82 and 1982-3, and shall from time toa time thereafter be subject to ex en ion through appropriate Resolution of the Li ty Lommi ssi on of the Lt ty of Longwood, sa reflected at its annual Budget meeting, or any continuance thereof, in the mo nthsof October of each year until supplemented, amended, repeal etl, or otherxi se altered. SECTION VI - All Ordinance, Resolutions, or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are hereby repealed.
