WHEREAS, the City of Longwood, Florida, made application Eo
a 201 Facilities Plan Grant to U. E. Envi ronmenT.al Protection
Agency, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Longwood, Florida, has been awarded a
grant in the amount of $40,G5O.00 by U. S. Environmental ProteC-
tron AN y, pursuant to Wastewater Treatment Works Grant P1o9ra
pursuant to PL 92-500, 86 Statute, Title II, Section 201, and,
WHEREAS, the City Of LongwOOd, Florida, desires to accept
said Grant,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLLEN BY THF, CITY COMMISSION OF TH
CITY OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Longwood, Flor-
ida, for and on behalf of said Florida Municipal Corporation,
hereby acknowledges the award of A Wastewater Treatment Works
Grant, No. C120698-01-0, pursuant to PL 92-500, 06 Statute, Titl
IF, Section 201, for a 201 Facilities Plan for Altamonte springs
Longwood, Florida, Planning Area, as designated by Florida
Department of £nvi ronmental R gelation, said award having been
made on May 31, 1979, and by the passage and adoption of this
Resolution, accept said Grant, P.—eat to the provisions of
the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972, as
amended by the Clean Water Act of 1977, and agrees to abound by
all standard and special conditions of said Grant.
2. That the Mayor Of the City of Longwood, Florida, is
hereby authorized to execute the U. S. Environmental Pro tectvon
Agency Grant Agreement, a copy or which is appended hereto, for
purposes of identification, and all other documents which may be

1. The interest rate to be used in the alternatives evaluation of your facility
plan is six and seven eighths Dercent (6-7
/E%).
2. The Step I grant interfaces with a grant awarded under Section M of PI 92-500
to the East Central Florida Regional Pl anni nq Council for development of an
wide wa to treatment management plan. The pl anni nq ar r the Section 208
grant encompasses the Dlan of study area for the Step I project. Pursuant to
40 LFR, 35, 911-] prior to final approval of the faicliti es plan developed under
this grant, the 200 grantee agency must be afforded an opPPrtuni ty to conmen t.
Inv w of the two efforts, the Step [grantee shares with the 200 grantee the
respon11bility to ma ico compatibility and minimize duplication in accomplishing
the respective to s ksxim
3. Prior to 50% payment, the grantee shall submit to EPA a 201 A map which'
identifies all population areand defines each are by ra , Prior to EPA
approval of the 211 Facilitya
Plan the 211 a map will be updated to clearly
show the facilities to be constructed and theschedule for construction showing
any phasing planned.
4. This grant is subject to the provisions of 40 UP 25 as published in the Federal
Register Vol. 44, No. 34 - Friday, February 16, 3g1g.
The 9ra ntee shall submit within 60 days from the date of this grant agreement A
Public Participation Work Plan in accordance with 40 L.R 25. i1.
No costs shall be incurred under this grant until the Work Plan is approved by
EPA.
