Resolution 206wH£REAS, pursuant to 33 U.s.C. 466 et. seq., the
States of Ameraca has authorized the making of grants to p
the City of Longwood, Florida:
1. That Eugene D. Sagves, Mayor of the City o£
Longwood, Florida, be and he is hereby authorized to execute and
file a application on behalf of the City of Longwood, Florida,
with the Envaroeunental Protection Agency, far a grant to aid
in the construction of an interceptor system, including farce
morns, pumping st atrons, gravity trunk sewers and appurtenances
to collect and tr anspoxt sanitary sewage to the previously
approved regional sewage treatment plant; and the said eugene p.
Saques is hereby authorized to execute and file on behalf o£
the City of Longwood, Florida, an Assvr once of Compliance with
the Environmental Protection gency, regulations under mitle VI,
Civil Rights Act of 1964.
2. That the City of Longwood, Florida, hereby declares
vts intent to make application to the state of Florida for aid
in construction of aforementioned facilities under the provi.s ions
of the Florida Aix and water Pollution Control Act, Chapter 403,
Florida Statutes, and specifically under 70-270, General Laws
o£ Florida.
3. That Eugene 0. Saque s, Mayor, be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to furnish such information as the
Envuo.unental Protection Agency may reasonably request in
connection with the application which is herein authorized to
be filed.
