Resolution 210wHE REAB, the City Of Longwood, Florida, has recer ved revenue sharing funds from the federal government for the entitlement periods January 1, 1972, through December 31, 19>2, rn the total amount of $32,863; and WHEREAS, said funds have been separated from other munvcipal funds by the establishment O.. a designated trust fund; and WHEREAS, it vs the desire of the City to expend said funds for authorized purposes to meet the needs of the ca trze ns o£ the City of Longwood, Florida. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COtINC1L OF THE CITY OF LONGw00D, FLORIDA, AS FOLIfJWE. I.. That the City of Longwood, Florida, shall expend the federal revenue funds which it has received from the federal government for the entitlement periods January 1, 19)2, through December 31, 1972, in the amount Of $32,063 plus accrued rnterest for the following specific purposes: a. City wide recreation program - $3,400; b. Police vehicles - $4,000: c. One pickup t vek for u e by City Water partment - $2,600; d. One new garbage packer - $13,000; e. One n ontend loader for use by 5 eetr w and 5 wer Departments atS10,000.e 2. That said funds are hereby authorized to be expended for the aforesaid specific purposes. 3. That a notvice vs to b published in The Sanford Herald, a newspaper of general cvrculation in Seminole County, Florida, for one publication of said newspaper notifying the public of the City's intention to expend the aforesaid federal revenue funds for the specific purposes se[ forth herein. 4.
