CIiARTER AMEND Article X, Section 10 01 (c), Charter Review, is amended to reed es follows: The City Commission shall, from time to time and not less than every rnrM (d) sgve° f'/l years appoint a Charter Advisory Commi[Ice for the purpose of wing the Charter ofthe City and submitting recommendations to the Commission fortpmposed amendments or revisions to the Charter. The Advisory Committer shall nsist ofone (1) member representing each Commission District and wntinue iv ematevae for a period not to exceed one (1) year. The proposed amendments to the Charter ofthe City of Longwood es set forth above shell be individually placed on the City ballot and submitted to the at the next general election on Tuesday, November 8, 2005. The voters shall have ev opportunity to vote on the proposed amendmets to the Charter, which proposed mevdments shall be placed on the ballot individually, and the Charter ofthe City of Longwoo4 plorida shall be amended pur to the proposed amendments receiving a majority ofvotes cest and shall become ef£enive upon passage of the specific amendments. SECTION 3. The provisions ofthe Ordinance are declared to be sepmable end if any section, sentence, clause, or phase of this Ordinance shall for any reason be held to be i valid o nal, such dec n shall n t affett the validity oC the reaming sections, sentencesnclauses, or phrases ofthis Ordinance but they shall remain in effect, it being the legislative intwt that this Ordinance shall stand notwithstanding the invalidity of any part.
