VVHERF.AS, on ]vly 20, 1992, the City of Longwood adopted its Comprehensive Plen
(Ordinance No. lOt9) pursaavt 1o the regniremenls ofCheplu 163, Part 11, Florida Slatntes and
Chapter 91-5 Floride Administrotive Code; and
WHEREAS, on November 19, 1993 the Florida Department of Co~rwunity Affairs
determined the City's Comprehensive Plan wax in wmpliance with Oie requiremen~s ofChapter 163,
Part Il, Florida Stemles and Chapter 91-5, Florida Adminixlrntive Code; and
lVBEREA9, Chapter 163.31'14 (4) (e), Florida Stemtae requires Oto Land Planning Agevoy
(LPA) to make rewmmendations to the govamivg body regarding amendments to Iha Comprehensive
Ylan; .vrd
\VHF,REAS, the LPA held a public hearing ov Apri114, 2004 to considu the SLrall Seale
Plan Amendment reynest; and recommended the proposed Small Scale Plan Amendment (SPA 02-
04) be eppeoved by the City Commission; and
