WHEREAS, the City Commission ("COmmisalon") of the City of Longwood Florida, ("City') established a Retirement Plan end Trust for the Fitefghters end Police Officers of the City of Longwood (the "Plan") Duravant to ordinance numbu 95-828, subsequently amended; and, WHEREAS, the Plan was executed on December 4, 1995; and WHEREAS, the Plan was restated and adopted on Onober I, I99], and WHEREAS, Article 19 of the Plan Daaument authorizes the Employer to amend the Plan in whole or in pan. either retroactively or prospectively, and WHEREAS, the Commission, in its capacity as the Trustee of the Plan is the appro0riate body [o amend the Plan on behalFof the City and the Plav Paticipants; and WHEREAS, The City desires to amend the Plan and deems the amendments to be in the bcrt interests of its participants and beneficiaries. SECTION 2: Tha City hereby empowers the Commission with the authority to such dovumavts and agreements as are required to eRectuato this amendment of the Plan SECTION 3: CONFLICTS. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in wnFliu herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4: SEVERABILITY.
