PORPOSE AND LEGISWTIVEFINDINGS. Theabove recitals are Hereby adopted as the legislative purpose of this Ordinance and as the Crty Commission=s legislative Svdivgs. E O TE CE AME R P All activkiesrelativgtothe acceptance, review and aainv upon pemsit applications fr game rooms, arcades, dance halls and 2 ~ similar indoor entenahvuent and other indoor amusement activities are temporarily suspended in order for Ne City of Longwood dvougfi its officials arM staff to have [he adequate time and oppomuilty to continue to conduct a study or Wadies and comprehensiwty malyuthe adequacy of appbwtion mteria, standards, and other approval processes, legality of Adult Arcades and related estabgshmrnts, procedures related to the issuance of said permits witiiln the City of Longwood. Accordingly, based upon the foregoing, there is hereby imposed a temporary moatoiium on the receipt andlor acdng upon apphcatons fordcenses relating to game rooms, arcades, danw halisand other simgar indoor eotettainment and indoor amusement type aarm~es. During Ne time the temporary moratorium is in effett, the City wig accept no applications or act on any pending appbcatioiu for permrcs for such activities and no such new activities shall bepemd[tabie witliln dre Ciry.
