WHEREAS, on July 20, 1992. the City oP Longwood adopted in Comprehensive Plan (Ordinance No. 1019) pureuant to the rcquiremen~s of Chap~er 163. Part 11. Florida Suwtcs and Chapter 91-5 Florida Adminisfralive Cale and WHEREAS, on November 19, 1993 the Plorida Depanment otCommunily Affair determined the Ciry's Compehensve plan uas in compliance with the requirements of Chapter 163, Pen IL Florida Swtutcs and Chapter 91-5, Florida Atlministn~ive Code; and WHEREAS, Chepler 163 31 ]R (Q) (o). Plorido Staates requires «te Laud Planning Agency (LPA) to mako reeommendalions to the governing body regarding amendmenu to Jhe Comprchu,s,ve Plon. and W NERF,AS. ~hc LPA held a public hearing on June 11,3003 to consider the Small Seale Plan Amendmen~ request; and rrsommendcd the proposed Small Scale Plan Amendment (SPA OS-02) be approved by the City Commission: and WHERLrAS, the City Commission held a public bearing July 21.200] anJ again on August 4. 2003 pursuant to the requirements of Chapter Ifi3.318'/.
