W}IEREAS, on July 20,1992, the City of Coogwood adopted its Comprehensive Plan (O~tlinence No. 1019) Pursuon~ to the requirements of Chapter 163, Pan 11. Florida Sta~n~es and Cheptee 91-5 Plonda Adminisrrative Code; and WHEREAS, on Novembu 19, 199] the Fb~ida Depanment of Community ARnirs deaermineA IFe Ciry's Comprehensive Plan was in compliance with the requimmen~s of Chapter 163, Pan IL, Florida Statues and Chapter 91-5. Florida Administrative Cade; and W HF,REAS, Chaptc~ 16331'/4 (4) (a), Plocidu Statutes reynices the Land Planning Abency (LPA) to make rccommendauons R tl~e govaming body ~egeMing amendmema ~n me cnmp~enansi~e Plan: and WHEREAS, dic I.PA held e public hearing on June 11.2003 to consider the Small Scale Plan Amendmcn~ request: and recommended the proposed Small Scale Plon Amcndmem (SPA E2-03) be approved by the City Commissino; and WHEREAS, the City Commission held a Public hearing July 21.2003 and again on August 4, 2003 pursuant w the requirements of Chapter 163.318], F5. HE IT SO ORHAINF.U BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LONG WOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: l'he following portions of the f=uture Land l)so Map ofthe Comprehensive Plan are hereby amended to change the land use designation of the properties described as: 1490 S. US Highway 1]/92 property IU # fM-21-30-SOI-0100-0020 as depicted in FXHIHIT A, from CODKCV COMMI?RCIAI. TO CITY GENERAL COMMERCIAL (GC), anached herein as though fully contained hertin. SECTION 2: Pursuant to Ne aquirements of Chapter J63318](3)~e~, Florida Statutes this Ordinance shall not vJ:e etr tuntil thinyronc (31)days after City Commission adoption, unless an appeal has heart filed within that time.
