AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITV OF LONGWOOD. FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE TRANSPORT RATE; AMENDING CITV CODE
SECTION 2-163 ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE FEES (FIRE SERVICE)',
AND PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Longwood, Florida,
deemetl It to be in the best in[eres~ of the citizens of the City that the Department
of Public Safety Fire-Rescue Division operate an emergency medical patient
transport system; and
WHEREAS, the CI1y Commission of the City of Longwood Florida,
has the authority to establish fees for service; antl
WHEREAS, the City Commission, upon available information and
tlata. tleem it appropriate to revise the transport rate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BV THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITV OF LONGWOOD, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the schedule of fees relating to the City s
operation of the emergency medical patient transport system is hereby motllfied
as follows:
1. That the fee for BLS Non Emergency transport has
hereby bean set at One Hundred Seventy One Dollars ($1 ]1.00).
2. That the fee for BLS Emergency transport has hereby
been set at Two Hundred Seventy Three Dollars ($2]3.00).
3. That the fee for ALS NOn Emergency transport has
hereby been set at Two Hundred Flve Dollars ($205.00).
4. That the (ee for ALS Level i transport has hereby
been set a[ Three Huntlred Twenty Four Dollars ($324.00).
5. That the fee for ALS Level2 tansport has hereby
been se[ at Four Hundred Silly Nine Dollars ($469.00).
6. That the fee for Transport M'tleage per loadetl mile
has hereby been set at Five Dollars antl Fiky Cents ($5.50).

SECTION IL In the event it is determined by tha City Commission
that a change to [he Fee Schedule is warranted, the change will be accomplishetl
by Ortlinance adoptetl by the Longwood Clty Commission.
SECTION III. CONFLICTS. All ordinances or parts thereof in
conlllct herewith, be and the same are hereby repealetl.
SECTION IV. SEVERABILITY. Should any section. paragraph,
sentence, item, wortl, or provision of this ordinance be declared invalid by
ourl of competentjudedlctlon, such decision shall not affeot the valltllty of this
ordinance as a whole or any part hereof, not so tleclaretl to be invalid.
SECTION V. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance become effective
upon adoption.
