PLAN AMENDMENT (SPA 14-03) CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION ON THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE COMPRF.HF,NSIVE PLAN AT L020 & 992 CR 42] FROM COllNTY INDUSTRIAL TO CITY INDUSTRIAL (INU) PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on July 20, 1992. the City of Lon&wood adopted its Comprehensive Plnn (Ordinance No. 1019) purntent to the requirements of Chapter 163, Part IL Florida Stvmres and Chapter 91-5 Floridn Admiois¢adve Code', and WHEREAS, on November I9, 1993 the Florida Department of Community Affairs determined Ne City's Comprehensive Plan was in compliance wilt, d,e requiromen[s ofChepter 163, Part II, Florida Statutes and Chapter 91-5, Florida Adminisvalivc Code; and WHEREAS, Chaptr 16331"14 (4) (a). Florida Statutes requires Ne Land Plwning Agency (LPA) to make recommendations to Ne govcming body regarding amendmenm to the Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the LPA held a public hearing on June t 1.2003 ut consider the Small Scale Plan Amendment request; and recommended the proposed Small Scale Plan Amendment (SPA 11- 03) be approved by the City Commuson. and WHEREAS, the City Commission held a puhlic hearing July 21, 2003 and again on August 4, 2003 pursuant to the ecquiremants of Chapter 163.318]. Florida Stawtes, this Odinance shall not take effect ontJ thirty-one (31) Jays after Clty Commission adoption, unless an appeal has been filed within that nme.
